first off, i would be emotionally unhinged in the best way if you made him. luke literally admires this man for everything he is and completely ignores young’s need for revenge because young was a legend. and legends don’t just die. while in part their relationship has a tendency to get toxic, i do believe that young finds a great light in luke, and talent. and maybe excuses can be for the entire presidential scheme that that is what luke should be doing. because young believes luke can do things that are far greater than luke things. but luke got knocked down by every magazine he applied for. so he thinks he has no ability to accomplish. if you make him, i will love you 5ever.YOUNG was raised to be fearless, and with that came a great urge to test his limits. YOUNG thought as a kid he could get away with anything. He stole packs of gum from the grocery store young to get a a high. He hit on girls that were taken. And he pushed as far as he could go without doing homework, still getting a grade that was passable. YOUNG wasn’t a genius, but he wasn’t stupid. Mostly, he was lazy, and wanted to get away with whatever he could without putting forth too much of the effort. He would much rather get someone else to do it with a guilt driven tactic. Lazy, remember?
The only paper that YOUNG had ever written, he was complimented on, and asked if had ever thought of a career in writing. Writing, people could make money off of that? The teacher replied only if you were as good as this paper. After that, YOUNG spent a lot of time with a pen, pencil, or a computer. He paid other’s for his homework until graduation, when college came. As an Creative Writing major, he thought his life would fall into ease, but other people telling him what to do didn’t please him, and YOUNG got fed up. He dropped out of school, soon to complete his first novel, and a year and a half after, his second.
YOUNG won prizes and honors for the books he’d written, having as most celebrity-status as he could as a fiction writer writing books without a teen following, like Twilight (a series he despised.) And throughout his career, fearlessness, and no filter, YOUNG made enemies. Rumors started spilling out that YOUNG paid an individual to write his books for him, discrediting him as an author after said individual stood out against him and voiced admittance to writing one of YOUNG’S prized novels.
He was ruined and he was angry.
That was how You magazine was created. The rumor mill was a brutal killing machine, and YOUNG wanted others to share his pain and suffering. The tabloid came easy to him with vengeance, attacking everyone who looked at him the wrong way under a pseudonym. The mighty had fallen. And if YOUNG was going down, he was taking everyone down with him.
young’s vengeance sprung a leak onto his hire lowe, giving him an undercover assignment to become the president’s speech writer. a part of young sees himself in the young boy, and he’s afraid that one false step, lowe is going to get eaten alive. someone will ruin him. young’s just too blinded to see that young himself may be the one to do it.
NOTE: YOUNG is a canon, i just made the request because I want him bad.
